For billing data, Elemental is the Data Controller. This data is therefore governed by our Privacy Policy.

No Student Data is involved

Payments are made by the person who sets up or renews your subscription. No Student Data is used for billing, and no student is asked to provide payment details.

Bank and payment card details do not reach Elemental

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered into Stripe's own payment form and sent directly to Stripe, so they are never received or stored by Elemental. As our Privacy Policy states, all payment data is handled and stored by Stripe.

What Elemental holds

We hold the billing details needed to issue and reconcile an invoice, such as the organisation being billed, the contact making the purchase, and a record of what was purchased and when.

Purchases made in our mobile apps

Subscriptions bought inside the iOS or Android apps are processed by Apple and Google under their own terms. Elemental does not receive card details from those purchases either.
