New Content Week - Eddie Chesterman
Our second composer up in Elemental's New Content Week is Eddie Chesterman. Eddie works in the music department at Queen's College London, having finished his music studies at Oxford a couple of years back.
Eddie's focus in writing music for Elemental this summer was filling a request from one of our users for the platform to have a bigger range of music in our cadence examples. Last year these were all Bach chorales, useful in themselves but missing the breadth the rest of the platform provides.
Eddie has written each new cadence set with a different stylistic focus and we're sure your pupils will be keener than every to improve their aural recognition of cadences just so they can spend more time listening to these wonderful clips he's written. Here's an example of a perfect cadence with an expansive harmonic 2010s vibe.
